Monthly

Check the boiler water pressure as displayed on the gauge, the pressure should normally be between 1 bar and 2 bar depending on whether the system is cold or hot.

Annually

It is important to have the underfloor heating system serviced annually to maintain longevity and efficient operation. The underfloor pipework contains the same water as circulates through the boiler. Follow the boiler manufacturer's recommendation for a suitable inhibitor and dosing frequency.

Seasonal adjustments

Underfloor heating can be left active all year round as it is thermostatically controlled according to the room temperature. In warm weather it will simply not come on.

If you require to turn the heating off (for example when servicing) always use the main heating isolation switch.

Nu-Heat EnergyMaster2™ thermal store cylinder

It is important to have the cylinder serviced annually to ensure safe operation and as a requirement of the warranty. The performance of the cylinder and associated components should be checked annually and the checks logged in the correct section of the User Guide.
