Recommended boilers and heat sources
Solid fuel boilers should be avoided due to their variable output, however wood pellet boilers can be suitable.
Avoid any boiler without a thermostat.
The Worcester-Bosch Greenstar range of boilers contains some models that have proved difficult to integrate with underfloor heating; see below for suitability of individual models in the range.
