Alupex™

A five-layer pipe consisting of an outer layer of cross-linked Poly-Ethylene (PE-X), then adhesive, a middle layer of aluminim, further adhesive, then an internal layer of cross-linked Poly-Ethylene with an oxygen diffusion barrier (PE-Xc). This is supplied with 10mm PeX systems as flow and return pipework between the Optiflo™ manifold and the room distributors. It maintains its shape when formed, which is just done by hand - no specific tool is available. The minimum diameter around which 18mm Alupex can be bent is 180mm.
