Remote Sensor

Connected to a controlling thermostat, used to detect the temperature in an adjoining area. This makes them ideal for bathrooms and wet areas as they are sealed units, impervious to moisture.
Remote sensors can be either air sensing or floor sensing. The latter enables them to limit the floor temperature if sensitive coverings are used, or where air temperature is not going to be indicative (i.e. if underfloor is used as floor warming rather than space heating, such as would be the case for a pool area).
