Switched Live

A 'switched live' is an electrical signal given out by a component when an intenal switch 'makes'. For example, a room thermostat will have a permanent live supply to it but will only give out a switch live output when the temperature is low.
Switched Lives can be mains voltage, and as such should be sleeved, irrespective of wire colour.
