Pressure reducing valve

Designed to limit the pressure of water.



A 1 bar pressure reducing valve is supplied with the EnergyMaster™ cylinder to limit the pressure that can be admitted to the cylinder, and hence the heating system, via the filling loop.



Depending on the incoming mains pressure it may be necessary to fit a PRV on the incoming mains to the cylinder to limit this to 3.5 bar. It is important to size this in accordance with the pipe size so as not to restrict the flow rate. Also note that most PRVs are adjustable, and have apreaaure gauge to indicate the setting. Adjust the valve following the instructions supplied with the valve.
