Today, we offer a comprehensive range of proven, high efficiency boilers and every boiler in the range is SEDBUK A rated and recommended by the Energy Saving Trust. There are six heating only / open vent models in outputs from 12-38kW, three combination boilers available in 24,30 & 38kW as well as two system boilers in 18 & 30kW models making the entire range suitable for most house types and all heating and hot water requirements – including under floor heating.

When revisions to Part L1 of the Building Regulations coming into effect on 1st April 2005, SEDBUK A or B rated condensing boilers now have to be fitted in the majority of installations. This change was no surprise to Glow-worm as the ‘xi’ range of advanced condensing boilers is now in its 3rd year on the market and is well established

hxi 12-28kW Heating Only / Open Vent boilers
A heating only boiler provides central heating and hot water via a storage cylinder and is normally open vented, meaning there is an expansion tank within the loft space. The hxi range of condensing boilers offers a superior level of high efficiency performance for open vented and sealed system applications. The hxi range provides excellent heating performance while protecting the environment and saving householders money. The hxi uses a single reliable stainless steel heat exchanger designed for easier servicing and dependability.

cxi 24,30 & 38kW Combi boilers
A combination boiler provides central heating and instant hot water with no need for a storage facility. This is part of a ‘sealed’ system, which means that there is no need for a tank in the loft or water storage cylinder. The advanced cxi range of high efficiency condensing combination boilers provide highly efficient heating and hot water, protecting the environment and saving homeowners money. The reliable stainless steel heat exchanger produces up to 15.5 L/min and an impressive 5-second* hot water response, with quiet operation.

sxi 18 & 30kW System boilers
A system boiler will provide heating together with the power to heat water to be stored within a cylinder as part of a slead system, meaning there is no need for an expansion tank in the loft space. The sxi range of condensing system boilers offers a superior level of high efficiency performance. The 18kW and 30kW outputs provide excellent heating performance while protecting the environment and saving householders money. The sxi uses a single reliable stainless steel exchanger for easier servicing and dependability.
