Nu-Heat underfloor heating has been installed throughout the beautifully restored Meadow Barn at Kingswood in Surrey.

The original dilapidated barn was found be owners Mr & Mrs Barnett in Lingfield, Sussex, where it was dismantled, moved and re-built on its current site.

Sympathetically restored, Meadow Barn is now a luxurious three bedroomed home with the main living accommodation upstairs so that the family could take full advantage of the steeply sloping beamed roof area.

Unlike many similar systems, Nu-Heat underfloor heating is suitable for whole house heating and ideal for installation with practically any type of flooring including screed, floating and suspended. The choice of floor covering is also virtually limitless including flagstones, tiles, timber, carpet and vinyl.

In installations such as Meadow Barn the advantages of Nu-Heat underfloor heating are immense, not least the lack of unsightly radiators and the efficiency underfloor heating achieves. The method is particularly well suited to rooms with high vaulted ceilings.

Mrs Barnett commented, "Everybody that visits cannot believe how comfortable and even the heat is and not localised as with conventional radiators. During the winter the heating is kept on day and night at 18 degrees and we find this ideal as well as economical to run".
