Faster heating response
Speed of response is an important factor with any floor heating system. Nu-Heat floor heating design is uniquely based on three simple concepts for faster response and greater comfort.
With a ONEZONE® system, the Fastflo-10™ tubing runs directly to the ONEZONE® manifold.
Note that distributors are not used in ONEZONE® systems.
Second, the tubing coils are shorter, reducing the temperature drop which occurs in long runs. The spread of heat is more even.
Third, water flows faster in the smaller diameter Fastflo® tubing. More warmth is transmitted.
Precise delivery, more output, and better spread equate to better economy, faster response and greater comfort.
Easier to install
Fastflo® tubing coils are lighter, easier to handle, to uncoil and to run back to the ONEZONE® manifold. The flexibility of Fastflo® enables it to be located with simpler clipping methods.
Quality
Fastflo® floor heating tube is manufactured in a material which has been installed in floor heating systems throughout Europe for the last three decades. Vast experience has been gained, through which Nu-Heat can be confident that Fastflo® floor heating tube will last in excess of 50 years.
State-of-the-art tool and production technology guarantee uniform wall thickness and extremely smooth interior pipe walls. During the extruding and calibration process, wall thickness tolerances are constantly monitored and minimised by computer technology. A permanent leak test is performed over the entire length guaranteeing full safety. Every metre is subjected to a permanent leak test, giving total confidence.
Environmentally Sensitive
Fastflo® is manufactured from polyethylene (PE), a thermo - resistant material with high molecular weight and high density, which never reacts aggressively in the natural cycle and offers many options for recycling.
The finished polyethylene is physically cross-linked in a separate step with the aid of electron beams in a special cross-linking device. No chemicals need to be added to the pipe to achieve cross-linking.
Oxygen barrier
Due to their molecular composition all synthetics are slightly permeable to gaseous substances. The physical process of gases permeating synthetics is referred to as permeation. In order to make Fastflo® tube impermeable to oxygen, it is coated with an EVOH barrier (ethylenevinylalcohol copolymer). The layer is seamlessly extruded onto the pipe using a special adhesive.
The barrier reduces oxygen permeation to far below the maximum tolerances as prescribed by DIN EN 12318/DIN 4726 (0.1 mg/l*d)
Warranty
Nu-Heat supplies a comprehensive product warranty to the consumer in relation to the faultless condition and durability of Fastflo® tubing, covered by product liability insurance extending for 10 years, starting from the date of installation. In the unlikely event of failure, warranty claims are satisfied by the supply of replacement product free of charge.
In addition, we will bear all expenses incurred by laying bare the defective products, their removal and the installation of faultless products as well as all subsequent costs necessary to restore the original building condition in a professional manner. We will also cover damage to persons and property resulting from the failure.
