Heated towel rails in your home can give you the luxury of warm dry towels all year round and add extra warmth and comfort to your bathrooms.

Towel rails are available as an optional extra with your Nu-Heat underfloor heating system.

We recommend non-ferrous towel rails in bathrooms, through which warm water from the domestic hot water circuit is pumped from the Nu-Heat Aquastar™ instant hot water loop.

The Aquastar™ is safer because rather than having scalding hot towel rails if they were part of the boiler circuit (typically 80 degrees), they would instead be gently warmed with the 50 degrees Centigrade domestic hot water. With an Aquastar™ instant hot water loop towel rails can also be left on in the summer months independent of the heating system. Nu-Heat offer a full range of non-ferrous towel rails.

Steel radiators or towel rails can be used with your underfloor heating system. Nu-Heat has system schematics available showing where to connect radiators which can be controlled electrically by means of a zone valve and single channel programmer. Please see the Nu-Heat installation manual for more details.

However, although steel towel rails can be installed in a Nu-Heat system, we stongly recommend the use of non-ferrous towel rails which can be used with a Nu-Heat Aquastar™ hot water loop.
