Radiators – standard

If the heat pump is to be linked to a radiator system, the heat pump is likely to be less efficient with a lower Coefficient of Performance (CoP), as the flow temperature to the radiators will be higher. To decrease the flow temperature a radiator with a surface area around 2.5 times greater may be needed.

Radiators – high performance

Alternatively, a high performance radiator can be specified. Some models will also need an electrical connection at each radiator to enable an internal fan.
