Integrated solar and heat pump systems |

Nu-Heat offers a flexible renewables package of integrated solar collector(s) and heat pump that will cover the heating and domestic hot water needs of a wide range of properties. Every system is individually designed and supplied with a complete package of parts, installation manual, free technical support and a comprehensive User Guide.
A combined heat pump and solar system allows each technology to perform when it is most efficient and increasing the amount of hot water available for heating and domestic hot water.
Solar panels, by their very nature, only generate hot water during daylight hours and perform best when the sun is out, whereas heat pumps work 24 hours a day regardless of the weather. Although the outside temperature inevitably affects the amount of heat generated by an air source heat pump, they have been proven to work in temperatures as low as -25˚C. Ground source heat pumps extract latent heat from at least a metre underground where the temperature stays at a fairly steady 12˚C throughout most of the UK, allowing them to take advantage of solar energy stored in the ground at any time and maintain efficiency.
Nu-Heat will look at each individual project to assess the best combination and size of unit to specify for maximum performance.
