Incentives for installing Solar Thermal |

|
In order to qualify for financial assistance towards the cost of installing renewable and low-carbon technologies such as heat pumps and solar thermal panels under the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) or Renewable Heat Incentive Premium Payment (RHIPP) schemes, both product and installer must be approved under the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS).
The MCS is quality assurance for renewables and both the product and the installer must be approved. Like Gas Safe, it is designed to ensure that the installer has high standards of installation and a thorough understanding of the products.
All relevant Nu-Heat products are MCS-Approved and we run our own MCS Umbrella Scheme of approved installers that is being added to all the time. Our National Renewables Training Centre won a National Training Award for its pioneering work in renewables training and was the first in the UK to run an approved Heat Pump Installation course.
