Installation estimates
In every case, Nu-Heat limits its project involvement to design and supply leaving you to control pricing for the installation.
If you are new to handling underfloor installations you may want some help in preparing your installation price. Using a formula based upon thousands of actual installations, we can calculate the total number of man-days required to complete any project, taking into account the floor area and specific floor constructions. This information is provided as a separate element to the quotation and allows you to have confidence that your installation price is accurate even when you are new to underfloor heating.
Technical support
Nu-Heat provides free telephone technical support for all installers fitting our systems as well as comprehensive User Guides for your customers to reduce follow up calls. Our Installation Manuals have won awards for being clear, well illustrated and user-friendly.
If you are not already MCS approved, Nu-Heat will send an MCS Approved engineer to commission all ground source and air source heat pump systems. And for large or very complex systems, we are happy to offer advice on site.
Training
Nu-Heat runs nationally accredited training in underfloor heating, heat pumps and solar thermal at its award-winning National Renewables Training Centre. This is backed up with industry-standard courses in Water Regulations 1999, Energy Efficiency and Unvented Hot water G3.
Nu-Heat MCS Support Network
To make life easy for installers whose customers want to apply for payments under the Renewable Heat Incentive for heat pumps and solar thermal panels, Nu-Heat has worked with NICEIC to develop its own MCS Support Network. This allows suitably qualified installers to do what they do best – install – whilst we take care of the paperwork.
