Installing Clippa Plate.
ClippaPlate
Nu-Heat's ClippaPlate™ is a product designed to speed up installation in suspended timber floors and give excellent heat output in low flow temperature systems such as those using a heat pump.
The complete package means installers can be confident of a high-performance, low profile system that can be installed quickly and easily. The benefits of ClippaPlate™ include:
- Virtually no floor height build-up
- Quick install times as the UFH can be fixed in both floors on the same day with no extra battening required
- No health and safety issues
- Fast response times
- Cost effective; no additional fixtures and fittings just ClippaPlate™, some screws and off you go!
This method is particularly suitable for timber-frame houses and renovations as floor decks can be laid before installation of the underfloor heating system; but it is also useful for any timber floor where there is access from below. In all cases it provides a safer alternative to working over exposed joists.

Air source heat pumps extract heat from the air, concentrate it, and make it available for a low-temperature system such as underfloor heating as well as domestic hot water.
