In domestic properties, the EnergyMaster™ cylinder combines the requirements of the underfloor heating with those of the hot water supply into an efficient, integrated whole. The EnergyMaster™ is an optional upgrade for Nu-Heat customers and is not included within a standard system. A major benefit of using an EnergyMaster™ themal store is that it also generates mains pressure domestic hot water, enabling your home to have power shower performance. The EnergyMaster™ cylinder provides a store of heat for both a Nu-Heat underfloor heating system and a domestic hot water system. With an EnergyMaster™ if a zone calls for heat, it can draw the warm water required to heat it directly from the cylinder without calling for additional heat from the boiler. In real terms, this means that there is reduced boiler cycling, the boiler is effectively used less to deliver the same amount of warmth. This increased efficiency significantly reduces the running costs, even further, of a Nu-Heat warm water underfloor heating system.
