LoPro®Max is a slim, high-output underfloor heating system that can be installed with minimal disruption. Designed to be laid over the top of a building’s existing concrete or insulated joisted subfloor, LoPro®Max can even be installed over different floor constructions within the same room, making it an excellent retrofit choice for extensions.

At just 22mm thick, this low profile UFH system adds minimal build-up to floor height, so there’s usually no need to increase the height of ceilings and doorways.

Installing LoPro®Max

LoPro®Max has been developed specifically for easy installation into renovations. 

Step 1. Prep the floor by levelling any uneven concrete, insulating below joisted floors and priming the surface ready for the panels.

Step 2. Fit the castellated panels to the primed floor by cutting them to fit, peeling off the film and sticking them down. They won’t budge – even with pumped compound.

Step 3. The pipework pushes easily between the castellations on the panels. For speedy fitting, push the pipe down with your foot as you go, following the included bespoke tube layout drawings.

Step 4. Pour the Quickset compound. Depending on the scale of your project, you may need a contractor to help with this. Our specially formulated self-levelling compound dries so fast you can walk on it in just 8 hours and lay floor coverings after 72 hours.

LoPro®Max performance with different floor coverings

Different floor covering materials will affect the way an underfloor heating system heats a room and may also be sensitive to heat.

When we design your LoPro®Max system, we’ll compensate for insulating floor coverings such as carpet and protect sensitive floor coverings like wood or vinyl.

For the highest heat output, pair LoPro®Max with highly conductive floor finishes such as natural stone and tile.
