Tundish and discharge pipework:

The drainage for air source heat pumps is also important, the image on the left is a recommendation of a drainage solution but other solutions are acceptable and the photo you supply will allow us to review this.

External discharge installation for cylinder pressure relief valves:

A photo of the either of the following external discharge methods:

a) Below a fixed grating
b) Terminated 70-100mm from ground level, with a wire cage to prevent contact, whilst maintaining visibility

Even if the groundworks are yet to be completed, the cage must be installed, with the pipe termination within 100mm of the current ground level.

Installation Non-conformities:*

In the event of any non-conformities located at the inspection, Nu-Heat reserves the right not to commission the system. Nu-Heat shall provide details of any non-conformities and methods of remedy and would expect rectification works to be completed within 14 working days. The system warranty will only be activated when the installation has been successfully commissioned.

Photographic evidence to be submitted to Nu-Heat to confirm the non-conformities have been completed.

You understand that Nu-Heat do not recommend switching the system on until the electrician and plumber have confirmed the installation matches the schematics and overall system design supplied by Nu-Heat.

The homeowner (where applicable) will need to be present to accept the handover of the system on the date of the Nu-Heat engineer visit.

Please bear in mind, commissioning lead times may be longer during the winter months, please allow up to 28 days once commissioning request has been submitted.
