OMNIE’s innovative emitter board products include the award-winning TorFloor 2 and LowBoard 2 systems.
These systems pioneered the technology of encapsulating the warm water pipe between a lower base panel and a protective cover panel, featuring a pre-cut pipe channel pattern. This allows the cover panel to easily locate and slot over the laid pipe, and features a distinctive print pattern to show fixing locations and pipe location.
TorFloor 2 – Integrated floor deck and heating system
TorFloor 2 is a combined floor deck and underfloor heating system for suspended and batten floors.
TorFloor 2 replaces the traditional floor deck with a complete dual layer system. The system is made up of two interlocking pipe channel panels that fully encase the pipe – the cover panel is printed on the floor face to show where the pipe channels are located, to ensure the pipes cannot be breached when mechanically fixing the panels to joists.
Because the upper panel is foiled, TorFloor 2 generates excellent heat output and has a very fast warm up time.
LowBoard 2 – Low-build up system for existing floors
LowBoard 2 is designed for low build up overlay applications, where an existing floor cannot be replaced.
The LowBoard 2 underfloor heating system has a complete build up of 18mm – the height of a 5p coin! (no additional ply covering layers are needed unless tiling is required). This means the panel is 18mm thick to finished floor.
The system comprises of two panels – a deck panel and a cover panel. The cover panel and deck panels both feature a pipe channel pattern and wrapping around the warm water pipe. Not only does this make the system very easy to install, the warm water pipe is also as close to the floor surface as possible, improving heat output and delivering fast warm up times.
